Whoops a daisy. I made a brief foray to the outside world last night for a bite to eat and a little drinkie or two with Ruth and Pretty Hana (the Bouncing Czech).

I’m not quite sure how much I had to drink but I do feel a little peculiar today. I hadn’t realised quite how low I’d sunk until I realised I was actually surfing my own blog… And now I’m writing a blog post about surfing my own blog. That’s not right, is it, in the world of the sane and normal?

cute lambDinner was scrummy until Pretty Hana wanted to know about her lamb. She was drunkenly aghast to discover that she was eating “baby sheeps”. Lamb doesn’t sound quite so appealing now, for some reason. Ew. Or should that be ‘ewe’? No, thought not. Silly me.

Anyway, instead of a writing day, I’m having a woe-is-me, where’s-the-milk-thistle-when-I-need-it day. The only thing to make me smile so far has been a cruel mention of the unmentionable incident involving lovely bf and some river-related spectacle loss, stinging nettles and the funky knees dance which should never, ever be performed on a bridge over a river. But I promised I wouldn’t ever mention that incident so I’ll just have to leave it to your imagination. Sorry.

Poor Hana. Did she get past the ‘baby sheeps’ part to actually enjoy her meal in the end? My swedish friend always says ’sheeps’ as well, so it’s now become part of our family vocabulary. Think it’s much prettier. :)

It’s amazing how sneakily the drinkies can evaporate when one is out like that, isn’t it? It just shouldn’t add up like that, especially as one is never drinking full glasses… I mean, they always seem to be half empty, in my experience… ;)

I think ’sheeps’ is an adorable word. She did manage to scoff the lot despite her endless moaning about how she “should haff had the steak”. Moocows are more acceptable for munching, it would seem!

Evaporation, yes, a terrible, terrible thing! Mind you, we WERE sitting by the fire… so actually, it probably really DID evaporate? No? Oh. :(
